These barrels are widely used for plating small articles in bulk. By the use of these barrels the articles can be Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Brass or Cadmium plated. The distinctive features of DELCRA submerged barrels are that the barrel is fabricated from PP/Acrylic. The built in mechanism facilitates the loading and unloading of the articles. The current carrying arrangement is built in so as to achieve maximum efficiency of the plating.

The submerged plating barrel consists of a steel tank properly lined. A motorised gear unit is connected to horizontal plating barrel. There is a chute also provided for easy unloading. The barrels are available in the following sizes

• Minor : 07 Kg. Capacity. Barrel is 12’’ x 08” app. Tank capacity is 250 Ltrs.

• Medium : 15 Kg. Capacity. Barrel is 18” x 10” app. Tank capacity is 500 Ltrs.
•  
• Major : 30 Kg. Capacity. Barrel is 30” x 15” app. Tank capacity is 900 Ltrs.

A centrifugal drying machine is normally used for drying articles after they are plated. The use of drying machine improves the appearance of the plated articles and save them. The distinctive features of DELCRA centrifugal drier are, the basket is designed for quick loading and unloading of the articles. The heating elements are protected. The motor is fitted with safety lock so that when lid is open the motor gets cut off. The entire unit is nicely balanced.

The centrifugal drier machines are robust in construction with easily removable baskets. The motor can be operated with a pedal control.

Delcra Air and oilcooled Electroplating Rectifier sets comprising of suitable Transformer, Rectifiers, Meter Panel, and Control Panel The components are suitably mounted in a steel case. In some case, control unit is housed in separate case to make it oilcooled and rest of the parts in a separate cabinet as a forced cooled or natural cooled.

Transformer will be double wounded vaccum impregnated, naturally cooled rated for continuous duty under plating shop conditions.

Rectifiers are rated for continuous service. silicon or selenium rectifier bridge connected ensuring fullwave rectification which is very essential for electroplating.

Digital voltmeter and ammeter pannel of suitable capacities are mounted on the sets

There are two methods of control normally provided in our manufacturing range

Step control by means of a rotary switch, providing suitable steps for easy control of output energy
Infinite variable control. A variac either hand operated or motor operated as the case may be.

All equipments are designed for efficient operations in the tropical climatic conditions. While designing the rectifiers, special care has been taken to see that they work with required efficiency under the conditions of typical electroplating shop. The ambient temperature has been reckoned at 45°C.

The filter machines are normally used for continuous filteration of the plating solutions. They are either portable or stationary. Where there are more than one bath of the same solution portable units are preferred.

The distinctive features DELCRA filter units are that they are simple and robust in construction. They are designed to work upto 65°C (165°F). The filter packs can very easily be dismantaled and reassembled in just 10 minutes
.
The filter machine consists of a PP lined filter chamber connected to a pump and mounted on the wheeled frame. The motor is totally enclosed. There are necessary pipes and a pressure gauge also. The above machines are available in two different varieties.

Minor : 1 H.P. with Output 1500 Ltrs/Hour app. 
Major : 2 H.P. with Output 4500 Ltrs/Hour app.

The Air Agitation Units are generally used for agitating the plating solutions. The agitation improves the plating process by decreasing polarization of anodes. It also helps use of higher current densities which results into finer grain deposition on the articles.

The Air Agitation Units consists of a rotary air pump with air vessel. On the vessel is mounted a pressure gauge, water level indicator, safety valve etc.

The compressed air is water washed and is free from oil and other impurities which may contaminate the plating solution.

It is recommended the addition of 0.5 gms per lit. borax in the air vessel for better results.

The Air Agitation Unit is available in the following size.

Minor : 1 H.P. with Output 09 cu.ft./minute app. 
Major : 2 H.P. with Output 18 cu.ft/minute app.

The horizontal polishing barrel is used for de-burring and polishing of small articles. The barrel is made of mild-steel, with or without rubber lining, stainless steel or any other material as per the requirement. It is mounted on strong MS channel frame, rotating on pedastal bearings, driven by suitable electric motor coupled with reduction gear box, through V-belts. The drive unit is adjustable for belt tensioning, entirely covered with MS sheet cover. The horizontal polishing barrels are made in multiple numbers on single rigid frame in horizontal or vertical mountings as per customers requirements. They are available in the capacities upto 100 Kg.

These barrels can be used for plating small parts and can be suitable for deposition of copper, brass, cadmium,zinc, tin,siver and nickel. These units consist of a steel barrel in Octogonal shape, duly rubber lined, Rotatable for discharge of plated articles, anode connection, C. D. frame, powered through geared motor of 3/,such as 1kg. to 15kg.
